OK so me and my friend want to start making beats and producing music… Is there a free software that we can use to do this? we want one that’s easy to use because we are kind of new to this…

There is a free demo for Sonic Producer, otherwise the full version is 40 bucks or so…it’s the cheapest out there, yet it’s also the easiest to use. I’ve used it for all my hip hop style tracks. I start out with sonic producer, export the mp3 and load it into ableton live which I mangle the beat further.
