i cant think of a good beat making software for FREE….but here’s a tip for you. Get Audacity….its a free music software for recording and editing sounds, etc…. And also get the demo version of FL Studio for beat making…..the demo version of FL…the save project is disabled….but the export project is enabled. So u can jus make beats by beats, leads, melodies, etc…one by one and export them one by one to .wave or mp3 formats. Then use Audacity to edit, rearrange, etc….
